Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Third molars, or wisdom teeth, typically erupt in early adult years. These "extra" teeth are positioned far back in the mouth and can be difficult to clean, making them problematic for most people. If you have wisdom teeth, our doctors may recommend that they be removed to prevent infection or decay that might affect surrounding teeth.
Consultation Process
As part of your initial consultation with our dentists, we will evaluate your teeth using necessary xrays and oral examination. If you have wisdom teeth, we will offer our recommendations based on your long term ability to maintain these teeth and protect the health of your other teeth. If we advise removal of wisdom teeth, we may coordinate an in-office consultation with one of our surgical specialists who can then schedule services as needed at our facility.
